Matthew is a Civil Engineer and Chartered Construction Manager with over sixteen years’ experience in heavy civils, infrastructure and building construction works. His initial experience within the industry was gained in specialist marine and offshore construction and then moved on to more mainstream Civil Engineering and Building Projects. 

Matthew has substantial practical, commercial and contractual experience gained from delivery of a variety of infrastructure, building and construction projects in the UK and overseas. 

Matthew’s ability to proactively distil contractual, commercial or operational claims issues down to a point of resolution and move forward, has led him to become increasingly involved in more contractually, commercially or operationally complex/sensitive contracts. He works collaboratively with clients and has a proactive approach to achieving resolution of both Quantum and Delay claims.
