Aaron Kyle is a specialist Arbitrator, Lawyer, Expert Determiner and Dispute Resolution professional focusing on Construction, Energy, Mining, Oil, and Infrastructure Disputes. Before qualifying as a Lawyer, Aaron studied Construction Management and Mining Engineering and worked extensively in project delivery, engineering, and site-based roles across Australia and the Middle East, giving him a practical understanding of the technical and contractual complexities that define major projects.


Aaron has acted as Sole Arbitrator and Expert Determiner in high-value international disputes across the UAE, Singapore, Australia and MENA Regions, and is frequently appointed under DIAC, ICC, DIFC-LCIA, and UNCITRAL Rules. His appointments have involved claims exceeding USD 50 million relating to variations, delays, acceleration, defects, termination, and professional negligence in sectors including mining, construction, transport, marine, power, and major civil infrastructure.


Aaron is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Accredited Mediator (NMAS), and an Admitted Lawyer in the Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. He is also a Construction Manager (CIOB), Mining Engineer and a member of several arbitral and industry institutions including ACICA, SCCA, DIAC and the Dubai Mediation Hub.


Having previously held senior roles in construction and mining operations—including with APP Corporation, Citta Property Group, Daracon Group, and Glencore PLC —Aaron combines his legal precision with a deep technical foundation in project management, contract administration, and engineering execution. His cross-disciplinary insight enables him to manage technically complex arbitrations with a balanced, technical and commercially focused approach.


Aaron is widely recognised within the legal and engineering community for his expertise in complex delay, defect, and quantum disputes, and for his ability to deliver fair, and well-reasoned awards.


He has been appointed in arbitrations under UAE, English, Bahraini, and Australian Law, and is regularly involved in proceedings seated in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Manama, Singapore and Sydney.
