Aniz Ahmad Amirudin was admitted to practise as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and has been in active practice for over two decades. He specialises in complex commercial and civil disputes, with a particular emphasis on construction and infrastructure matters. He has appeared as counsel at all levels of the Malaysian courts and has extensive experience in both advisory and advocacy work. Aniz has also been involved in a wide range of international and domestic arbitrations conducted in amongst others, under the rules of the AIAC, SIAC, ICC and LMAA.

In addition to his counsel work, Aniz regularly sits as an arbitrator and adjudicator in construction disputes. He is a panel member of more than ten arbitral institutions worldwide, including those based in London, the UAE, Russia, China, Thailand and Japan.

From being recognised by the Global Arbitration Review 100, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and the Asia Law Profiles, Aniz has also been recognised as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific, Distinguished Practitioner by Asialaw and Arbitration Future Leaders – Partners by Lexology.
