Virginie Colaiuta is the Co-Chair of the International Construction Projects Committee of the International Bar Association.

Her practice is based in London, where she works as a partner of the boutique law firm LMS Legal LLP.

Virginie has more than 25 years of experience acting as counsel, advocate and arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings mainly deriving from construction and energy projects, also based on investment treaties.

Virginie has studied and worked in several different countries. She is admitted to practise as a Solicitor in England & Wales, as Attorney at Law in New York, (USA) as Avocat à la Cour in Paris (France), and has

practised in Italy for a few years after obtaining a law degree from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Virginie is also teaching for the MSc of the Centre of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution of King’s

College, London and for the Master of Business Engineering (MBE) of the University of Stuttgart in Germany.

She is also a member of the Board of the Italian Society of Construction Law since 2020
