Zuzana Vysudilova is a French-qualified international arbitration lawyer of Slovak origin, currently serving as Counsel (Europe & Middle East) at International Construction Chambers. She has more than a decade of experience in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution, advising public and private clients in complex, high-stakes proceedings across the construction, infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors. Zuzana has participated in over forty arbitrations seated across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, conducted under leading institutional and ad hoc rules, including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, UNCITRAL, and ICDR.
Her practice has a particular focus on construction and engineering disputes, often arising from EPC and FIDIC contracts. She regularly represents State-owned entities, contractors, and investors in disputes involving large-scale infrastructure projects. Her experience includes multi-million euro FIDIC Yellow Book DAB proceedings and arbitrations concerning the construction of 220 kV and 500 kV transmission lines in a South Caucasus country; USD 7.5 million and USD 10 million FIDIC Red Book road-construction arbitrations under the laws of an East African country; a EUR 28 million arbitration under French law concerning the construction of a cement plant in a North African country; a USD 4 million arbitration under English law concerning piping works for a refinery project in a Middle Eastern country; a EUR 3 million arbitration under Swiss law concerning the construction of a cement plant in a Northwest African country; and a USD 3 million arbitration concerning insulation works for a refinery project in a Middle Eastern country.
Zuzana has also acted in several treaty arbitrations, including a EUR 270 million UNCITRAL case between a French investor and Senegal, and a EUR 62 million ICSID case between a British investor and Hungary. Her portfolio extends to emerging fields, such as renewable energy-related investments.
She was named to the 2025 Jus Connect Power List of Top Female Lawyers in Arbitration, which recognizes leading women practitioners globally based on verified performance data from 2023–2024.
Educated at Panthéon-Assas and the Sorbonne, Zuzana holds advanced Master’s degrees in International Economic Law and in Litigation, Arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is fluent in Slovak, French, and English, and has professional working proficiency in Czech.
