Dr Bernd Ehle is a leading international arbitration specialist and Partner at LALIVE (Geneva/Zurich/London), renowned for handling complex, high-value disputes in the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors. With over 100 arbitrations to his name, Bernd brings deep experience as both counsel and arbitrator under a broad spectrum of institutional and ad hoc rules, including ICC, Swiss Rules, ICSID, DIS, LCIA, DIAC, KCAB, VIAC, NAI, DIA, and UNCITRAL. His practice spans both civil and common law jurisdictions.
Bernd’s expertise extends to dispute adjudication boards. He is a member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre and serves on the Advisory Board of Africa Construction Law (ACL). He also co-chairs the Construction Group of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and sits on the Executive Committee of the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy (FIAA).
