After initial experience as an in-house lawyer with a French JV construction risk insurers, Christophe Lapp was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1981.


Since then, Christophe has developed a top-notch expertise in risk management and the resolution of complex disputes. He specialises in sophisticated dispute resolution in the construction, renewable energy, and telecom sectors. A well-respected expert on financial and technical subjects and an internationally recognized authority in dispute resolution, he has extensive experience in multi-jurisdictional litigation and he intervenes in all venues, Administrative Court, Judicial and Commercial Court, Public Authorities (apart from Criminal Courts).


He is also a leading expert in arbitration, he acts both as counsel and arbitrator in construction and energy matters in numerous ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, EDF and ad hoc arbitration proceedings (Europe, African : Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Togo, Cameroon, Madagascar, Mauritius, Middle East : Lebanon, UEA, Caribbean and South Pacific regions) and is a notable figure in Dispute Boards and DABs in Africa


He mainly acts for contractors and sub-contractors, employers, particularly in the field of infrastructure, scientific facilities, atomic and renewable energy.
