A dual-qualified barrister and Chartered Accountant, Jane has more than 25 years’ experience resolving international construction disputes as counsel and arbitrator with a particular focus on the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Russian Federation and Latin America. Jane is ranked for energy disputes, construction and international arbitration and commercial disputes (Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners), recognised on the Legal 500 Arbitration Private Practice Powerlist (UK) and as a Global Leader, National Leader and Thought Leader in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration and Who’s Who Legal: Construction. Jane has significant experience of FIDIC-based contracts, including acting as counsel in numerous disputes under the FIDIC Red, Yellow and Silver Books and negotiating the EUR3.3B St Petersburg Ring Road EPC Contract under the FIDIC Silver Book.

Jane has twice been nominated as Arbitrator of the Year and was described in Chambers & Partners as “one of the best arbitrators I've worked with” being “bright, experienced and willing to roll up her sleeves."

Jane is a UK member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration, was a member of the ICC Taskforce on Disability Inclusion in International Arbitration and is a member of the steering committee for the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge.
