Peter is a dual qualified Barrister and Chartered Surveyor with 47 years’ experience in construction and 32 years’ as a construction lawyer. A Chartered Arbitrator, Peter now spends all his time as an arbitrator, adjudicator, dispute board member or expert determiner. 

Peter is the Chair of ARBRIX. From 2019 to 2023 he was on the Contracts Committee at FIDIC. 

Peter has over 500 appointments as a dispute resolver in construction disputes. His appointments take him all over the world from the Far East to the Caribbean and all points in between He receives appointments from ICC, LCIA, DIAC, RICS, CIArb as well as party appointments. 

He is on the FIDIC President’s Panel. 

He is Head of International Services at 3PB Barristers.
