ICAA intends to list accredited Tribunal Assistants who have experience with construction and international arbitration. Accreditation courses are also being planned. The Committee considers that the proper use of TAs (otherwise known as Tribunal Administrative Secretaries) can contribute to efficient and effective arbitrations. ICAA members will be invited to contact ICTAs directly to engage their services.

The first General Meeting took place on 10 November and the Steering Group members were elected to become the ICAA Committee. The Committee, comprising Aarta Alkarimi, Aisha Nadar, Gwyn Owen, Jim Perry and Edward Corbett, appointed Jo Clarke as Honorary Secretary. Jo also serves as Next Generation Membership representative on the Committee. Edward was named as President.

ICAA has announced that Jo Clarke, a partner at Howard Kennedy in London, has agreed to act as Honorary Secretary of the Association.
