ICAA's First ICTA Course

The first training for International Construction Tribunal Assistants (aka tribunal secretaries) took place in London last week.

Profs Doug Jones and Janet Walker led the course together with Caroline Xu, an experienced TS.

18 participants got together at the offices of Howard Kennedy and now face their accreditation exam. Many will soon be listed as ICTAs. Some attended for the insights offered by Doug and Janet into the realities of international arbitration. ICAA President Edward Corbett was one of those: “It was a fascinating opportunity to hear about the experiences of two senior arbitrators and to learn just how much an ICTA can do to improve the process.“

More ICTA courses are being planned and will be announced soon.
